Kereru Lodge is a neighbour to Cable Bay winery and Restaurant, renowned for it's excellent food and architecture, as well as award winning wines. Cable Bay is also a popular venue for weddings and guests often stay at Kereru Lodge, a short walk along the road.
Kereru Lodge is a private self-contained luxury 'home away from
home' with 10 acres of native bush, landscaped garden,
ancient trees and breathtaking views of the Hauraki
Gulf and surrounding islands.
Guests can take a short walk to a private neighbourhood
beach, swim in the magnificent pool complex, relax in
the hot spa with the city in the distance or find a
quiet resting place in the extensive garden.
Children can explore the garden pathways, play on the
terraced lawns or have fun on the swings. Kereru is
the perfect place to unwind with friends, good food
and local delicacies.
Functions
The grounds of Kereru lodge are available for guests
to hold functions.
The top terrace, adjacent to the swimming pool, can
accommodate a 6m wide marquee up to 30m long.
This will seat up to 100 guests and provide sufficient
space for catering, bar facilities and music. A raised
platform is also available for ceremonies or other purposes.
