How To Get Here

By Ferry

Kereru is only 35minutes by Fullers Ferry from Downtown Auckland to Matiatia, Waiheke Island. A 5 minute shuttle ride from the wharf at Matiatia takes you to the lodge.

By Car

Visitors to Waiheke Island by car will find Kereru Lodge at the western end of the island, on the peninsula Church Bay.

Follow the main road to Oneroa. Continue through Oneroa, past Artworks and turn left onto Church Bay Rd. Turn right into Nick Johnstone Drive. Kereru is at the next main crossroads (cnr of Motukaha & Nick Johnstone Drive).

By Helicopter

NZ company Helilink will arrange transport by helicopter from either Auckland airport or the heliport at Mechanics Bay, on the Auckland waterfront.

By Boat

A number of local bays (Matiatia, Oneroa, Putiki) provide good anchorages. Transport by taxi or shuttle can be arranged to the lodge.

To Oneroa

Kereru is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive to the main town of Oneroa.

To Ferries/ Matiatia

Fullers ferries are only 5 minutes by car or taxi from the house. There is an excellent walking track adjacent to Kereru that meets the Matiatia carpark and ferry terminal (approx 20 minutes walk).
